The Walleye stocking program has developed the Inner Bay as one of the most productive fisheries in the U.S. for Walleye fishing. Eagle Bay Marina hosts the annual “Walleye Bonanza” fishing tournament in early August, one of several on the Bay. Perch, Bass and Pike fishing are also popular at Eagle Bay Marina. With DNR statistics boasting 100 lbs. of Perch per acre, Saginaw Bay Perch fishing is 5 times better than any inland lake. The Bass fishing is virtually untapped and there’s nothing like the fight and fun of large mouth Bass and Northern Pike.
